NHFMA Events
Borders Books & Music stores in
Concord and
Keene, in conjunction with NH Made and the NH
Farmers' Market Association, are hosting vendors from the Concord Farmers'
Market and the Keene Farmers' Market in an indoor farmers' market at the
Borders' stores on Sunday, April 23, 2006 from 1 - 4 PM. Come get an
early kickoff to the 2006 farmers' market season.
In addition, Borders
is holding a Borders Benefits Event for farmers' markets.
On 22 and 23 April, customers can receive a 10% discount off their entire
purchase. Customers must have a valid 10% coupon, which can be downloaded
here. The coupon has a dedicated barcode for this event and it's
valid at the Borders stores in Concord, Keene, Nashua and West Lebanon.
Borders Books & Music stores will make a 10% donation of the net
sales (after discount) for the 22 & 23 April event to the NH Made and NHFMA
as non-profit organizations.
In 1981, Borders Book Shop in Ann Arbor
began offering local organizations and schools a program called Book Days for
fundraising and library enrichment. Borders Books & Music stores nationwide
continues this tradition with their Benefit Events program.
